Sunday School

Our Sunday School Classes for 1st – 5th grade are a fun time for kids to learn more about the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him. We use North Point’s 252 Basics Curriculum for the 1st through 5th grade classes in Sunday School. You can preview this curriculum at www.252basics.org.  This curriculum is based on Luke 2:52 and teaches children: I need to make the wise choice; I can trust God no matter what; I should treat others the way I want to be treated.  Each month, one key virtue is taught through different Bible stories. 

The kids will have the Bible Lesson taught during Large Group and then they will break up into graded Small Groups for fun activities that reinforce the lesson and give kids an opportunity to apply what they have learned.  The same lesson is taught the same way for both the 9:15 and the 10:30 hour.

Classes offered at the 9:15 Hour
Kindergarten - M210
1st Grade - M205
(From 9:35 to 9:55, the 1st Graders will move to the Kindergarteners' Room M210 for the Large Group Bible Lesson.  Then they will return to their Small Group for the lesson activities.)
2nd Grade - M111 for check-in; M111 for pick-up before 10:15 and M109 for pick-up after 10:15
3rd Grade - M111 for check-in; M203 for pick-up
4th Grade - M112 for check-in; M204 for pick-up
5th Grade - M112 for check-in; M112 for pick-up before 10:15 and M110 for pick-up after 10:15

(From 10:45 to 11:05, the 1st Graders will move the the Kindergarteners' Room M210 the the Large Group Bible Lesson.  Then they will return to their Small Group for the lesson activities.)

4th Grade - M204
5th Grade - M110
(From 10:45 for 11:05, the 2nd - 5th Graders will meet in M109 for the Large Group Bible Lesson.  Then they will break into their graded Small Groups for the lesson activities.)
