Sunday School

Our Sunday School Classes for 1st – 5th grade are a fun time for kids to learn more about the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him. We use Willow Creek’s Promiseland Curriculum for the 1st through 5th grade classes in Sunday School. You can preview this curriculum at www.promiselandonline.com. One year, your child will be taken through an overview of the Old and New Testaments. The next year, your child will learn about the five G’s (Grace, Growing, Gifts, Groups, and Giving) through Bible lessons. This rotates each year with different lessons for 1st – 3rd grade and 4th – 5th grade.

At 9:15 we have Large Group Sunday School with worship, a Bible lesson, and a short time of meeting in small groups.

1st – 3rd grade meets in Room M111
4th – 5th grade meets in Room M112

At 10:30 we have Small Group Sunday School with a Bible lesson, and craft or game to reinforce the lesson. At 10:30 the Small Groups are divided by grade.

Your child can attend Large Group, Small Group, or Both depending on the needs of your family.
